F#6 Guitar Chord

A nostalgic, retro sound with an added sixth. Widely used in jazz, country and Hawaiian music. Compared to maj7, it sounds less "jazzy" and more "vintage".

How to play the F#6 chord on guitar

Read the string pattern 2–X–1–3–2–X from the low E string to the high E string. Numbers in the pattern are frets; numbers in the colored dots are left-hand fingers. X means a muted string and 0 means an open string.
