How to play the D13 chord on piano

Split the recommended voicing between the hands: play D3 and C4 with the left hand and F#4, B4 and E5 with the right. Suggested fingering is 5–1 on the left and 1–3–5 on the right (1 is the thumb). This common voicing omits the perfect fifth and natural eleventh (A and G) to keep the sound clear.
