ENow up to now my plan went alright
Till we Atried to put it all together one night

And the Amotor turned out to be a '73
And H7when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were Egone
ESo we drilled it out so that it would fit
And with a little Abit of help from an adapter kit
We H7had that engine running just like a Esong
ENow the headlights they was another sight
We had Atwo on the left and one on the right
But H7when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come Eon
EThe back end looked kind of funny too
But we Aput it together and when we got through
Well H7that's when we noticed that we only had one tail Efin
EAbout that time my wife walked out
And I could Asee in her eyes that she had her doubts
But she H7opened the door and said honey take me for a Espin
ESo we drove uptown just to get the tags
And I Aheaded her right on down main drag
I could H7hear everybody laughing for blocks Earound
EBut up there at the courthouse they didn't laugh
Cause to Atype it up it took the whole staff
And when H7they got through the title weighed sixty Epounds
