How Songbooks Work
On Smartchords you can create your own songbooks with your favorite songs. Each songbook has three visibility levels.
Visibility Levels
Private
Private Songbook
Only you can see it. No one else has access, not even via a link.
Shared
Shared Songbook
Anyone with the share link can access the songbook. You can generate the link in the songbook settings by enabling sharing. The songbook does not appear in the public listing.
Published
Published Songbook
The songbook is visible to all users in the public Songbooks section. Only the site editors can publish a songbook.
How to Get Started
- Go to the Songbooks section and click the Add Songbook button.
- Enter a name and optionally a description for your songbook.
- To share your songbook, enable the sharing option — you will get a link you can send to anyone.
- Add songs to your songbook directly from the song page using the songbook icon.
